He was known for his regional Indian music mainly built around rural pride, politics sometimes and also about small-town pride. He covered a large audience on his YouTube channel and streaming platforms before, and recently his life was cut tragically in August.

Early Life And Background

He is from the little village of Bantikher, Uttar Pradesh. He is also a member of the Jaat community, which he was quite proud of. Not much has been written about his childhood: no famous school, no early records of him performing on some local stage. That's fairly normal for artists like him, honestly. A lot of Haryanvi singers don't come up through any formal industry; they start posting, and either it works, or it doesn't. One clear thing is that he gave his all to start his career in the music industry from a very young age; he also left his home in his small town and shifted to Haryana in places like Sonipat and Rohtak,

Career

Things really picked up for him around 2023. Things really picked up for him around 2023. This is exactly the time when he released the song which is still in people's hearts, "Ek Khatola Jail Ke Bheetar,". The song reached over 10 million people. His YouTube channel took off alongside it, eventually crossing well over a hundred million total views.

After he had his first major hit, he also made sure to sustain this momentum. and wrote many other famous songs based on his choice of genre, which was around rural life or tiny villages. "Savidhan," "112 NE," "Jaat Jaatni," "Haridwar Haryane Ka," "Goli Ke Barood," "Agla Janam Jaat," these all did well and kept him in rotation. But the song which people are going to remember him for is now "Bhari Court Mein Goli Marenge Meri Jaan" It was a track built around gunfire in an open place like a courtroom, but now it took a very dark resonance after his death.

He wasn't just a singer, either. He also acted in his own videos, worked as a producer and wrote many songs too. With time, he also became friends with similar niches to his, like Ashu Tinky or Masoom sharm and many other. If we discuss topics other than music, he also conducted interviews for podcasts and spoke with several well-known people from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, there were rumours that he would soon enter politics, which indicates the extent of his power.

Personal Life

He kept his personal life pretty private, which again isn't unusual for artists in this space, the persona is public, the person often isn't. His family remained in Bantikhera, and his father, Satbir Singh, has talked to reporters since his death. And there is no trustworthy information about his wife or childrens. Death

On August 26, 2026, in the evening, Baliyan was shot and killed outside the gym. Police say three or four attackers opened fire as he was walking to his car after his workout, around 20 rounds over roughly two minutes. He was attacked by attackers more than once, and his car was completely ruined. Despite being transported to the hospital by his loved ones, he did not survive.

Not long after, a post claiming to be from the Gogi gang went viral, saying the killing was retaliation for his courtroom-shooting song, a nod to the 2021 murder of gangster Jitendra Gogi inside a Delhi courtroom. Police have not confirmed any of the rumors surrounding his death, but they are investigating every conceivable cause and nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

This killing horrified his supporters, and shortly following, they blocked the highways around Shamli, and he has also stated that he wants his son's killer imprisoned as quickly as possible. He was just 35.

Legacy

The music industry and Baliyan's followers were rocked by his untimely demise; he was no minor star. It has also revived a larger discussion about the risks that regional musicians incur when their songs touch on real crime and politics rather than remaining securely imaginary. Investigations are ongoing, but for now his fans are left with the songs and videos that made him famous in the first place.
